from the tender age of only 4 months old, billy angelo stella has had a set of drumsticks in his hands. billy angelo had the finest instructor one could ask for, his own father, angelo. angelo was the wyoming valley's #1 top flight drummer and drum instructor for 45 years. it was angelo who inspired billy to practice for hours on end, without being asked. angelo was an idol to billy and someone to follow in the footsteps of. billy's grandfather, professor william angelo stella, sr., was a professor of all instruments and was the inspiration behind angelo's learning to play the drums when he was only 12 years old.
