| Back in the FUN days of Rock n Roll in the Sixties came a band from "Wilkes-Barre" Pa. called "MEL WYNN & the RHYTHM ACES." The Band played in many of the Top Hot Spots in Pennsylvania. They had a HIT Record on the "Roulette Records" label. The Band members were: Mel Wynn -Singer, Jerry Sechleer -Guitar, Dave Pearn -Bass, Frank Loch -Organ, Ronnie Ashton -Saxophone and Angelo Stella -Drums. Also included was Bob O'Connell -Organ and Rich Garinger - Trumpet. I had the privilege to watch this Band rehearse and also perform. I have a lot of LOVE and ADMIRATION for all of them. Even though I was just in GRADE SCHOOL at the time, I remember MEL WYNN and the RHYTHM ACES vividly. I personally had a great time with all of them. I am hoping this brings back some memories to all of you and hope for the Younger Generation a New Beginning.
